Allergy and intolerance: guidance for businesses

We are nearing twelve months since the introduction of the new allery and intolerance food labelling legislation (the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation No. 1169/2011) came into force on 13 December 2014.

Many small and medium sized businesses will have had to undertake a review of all their food supplies to ensure their labelling meets the requirements of the legislation, whether they sell loose or pre-packaged foods.

Island Food Safety are able to offer a consultancy service to help guide businesses in need of help with complying with the food allery and intolerance labelling legislation, so please contact us if you need assistance.
